Unless you've been under a rock or you don’t pay attention to the happenings here at Royalty Magazine, you would know that we have recently crowned a Mr. as well as a Mz. Royalty. For those who are unaware of what that is, allow me a brief explanation. Those who do are asked to allow your mind to wander for a second.

Mr. and Mz. Royalty that is just another way we here at Royalty Magazine give some shine to the underground, in this case with underground as well as up-and-coming models. The inaugural Mz. Royalty is the lovely Anastazia.  Jessica Ashley is also a recent "Mz. Royalty" winner.  

Mr. Kenneth Bowen holds the distinction of being Mr. Royalty. It’s because of that we’re going to talk about him a bit.

Kenneth Bowen first began modeling about six years ago in 2007. By his own admission he began to get taller and became slimmer when  he first moved to Georgia. From there he began to hit the gym. He also noted that during that time he was a bit more focused on acting as opposed to modeling. It was someone telling him he had the height and build for modeling that turned it to his focus.

In the way of accomplishments Bowen has already worked with some big names in Hollywood. These high profile people include actor Wood Harris, actor/director Tyler Perry, actress Lisa Raye, and comedian/actor David Allen Grier. It is a humbling experience for him [Bowen] to be working with such great people. In addition to this he has his long term goals to think about. It is Bowen’s hope to further his modeling career, act, and do stand-up comedy. In the next five years Bowen also hopes to have a few movie roles under his belt and using his success to continue to help others pursue their dreams as well.

But what influences such a focused young man?

Mr. Royalty says, “I would definitely say my mom. Growing up in a single parent household I see that anything is possible. She is the biggest influence in my life. I couldn't have been where I am without her. She is very supportive and influences me with every passing day.”

Aside from his modeling career, Kenneth has a few other hobbies that occupy his days. Acting and stand-up comedy are among them. Bowen loves to make people laugh and put smiles on their faces. It makes him feel good to know that he could take someone out a bad situation for just a second by smiling.

As we discover all these things about Mr. Royalty, he leaves us with something to think on.

“I feel that I am very different from other twenty-five year old's just because I know the value of life and I would like to share it with a lot of others who have self-esteem issues.”
